Zurich

Not a lot to say about Zurich.  We went into the historic section of town with a guide map in hand.  The map was sponsored by a jewelry store.  Once we found the store we decided to go in and look around at watches, after all we are in Switzerland.  I guess the man standing at the door in a black suit and bow tie should have clued us in that this place was far more extravagant than our wallets.  We saw watches for over $100K!

We started the tour but grew tired of it quick so we just walked around down the main street.  Our stomachs were getting hungry so we started to look at menus and realized that Zurich is a very expensive place.  I was warned by a fellow cast member that spent 8 months living in Hawaii that Switzerland was by far the most expensive place to visit.  A basic appetizer and drink was more than 50 euro.
Here was one of the more economical menus.  Click on it for a larger view. December 2012 you would multiply the Swiss Franc by .92 for USD.

We looked into a vending machine and a snickers was more than $2.50 USD.  In the train station a BK hamburger meal was 15 euro ($19.50 USD).  We saw some other sights and than moved on to our long drive through France to Paris.

Lots of bikes, including this two seater, dual pedal trike.

Chance walked down into a long hallway and when I looked ahead I could see a naked man staring at him.  I was stunned and further baffled that Chance was continuing toward him.  Then the man got up and climbed down a ladder... then I realized this was a projection on a wall at the end of the long hallway.  The hallway was an art studio but Chance came out saying it was beyond crazy.

Beautiful stores with elaborate displays of chocolate.

View of the lake and Mountains.
